The Ford Customline Fordor sedan is a specific model of a four-door sedan produced by Ford between 1952 and 1956. The Customline was a mid-priced trim level, and the “Fordor” designation refers to the four-door configuration of the sedan body style.

NEW ASTRA DIAL CONTROL PANEL

Fashion and function combine in this unique control panel. Speedometer is almost directly in line of vision. Transparent hood allows daylight to illuminate needle and dial. 1954 FORD CRESTLINE SKYLINER

The Ford Crestline Skyliner was a distinctive car introduced for the 1954 model year, sitting at the top of Ford’s Crestline lineup. It was most famous for its “glasstop roof”—a transparent Acrylic (Plexiglas) panel over the front seats that gave it a futuristic, airy look. Production Years: The Crestline Skyliner was only produced for 1954. (the Crestline was Ford’s top trim series from 1952–1954, after which it was replaced by the Fairlane).

Here’s another addition to the long list of Ford firsts … the distinctive new Skyliner. It has the stunning style of the Victoria plus the newly designed transparent roof section covering driving compartment.
