The Wanderer W25 K Roadster is a classic car produced by the German company Wanderer, which was part of the Auto Union consortium that also included Audi, DKW, and Horch.

The W25 K was produced from 1936 to 1938 with a front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout that featured a lightweight tubular frame. Equipped with a 4-speed manual gearbox transmission, Independent front suspension with transverse leaf springs and a live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and Hydraulic drum brakes on all four wheels.

Ferdinand Porsche, the legendary automotive engineer and founder of the Porsche automobile company, played a significant role in the development of the Wanderer W25 K Roadster.

Porsche’s consultancy was instrumental in designing the chassis and the supercharged engine of the Wanderer W25 K Roadster. His expertise in high-performance engineering helped ensure that the W25 K had advanced features for its time, such as the lightweight tubular frame and the powerful supercharged engine.

The W25 K was powered by a supercharged 2.0 litres six-cylinder inline engine producing 85 horsepower capable of reaching top speed around 140 km/h (87 mph) was developed under Porsche’s guidance. An American Army officer stationed in Germany took the Wanderer W 25 K to the United States and drove it there until 1956. This W 25 K was originally a roadster. An unknown sheet metal artist modified it with convertible doors, making it more weatherproof.
