Lexus SC 300 (1992-2001)

The 1992–2001 Lexus SC 300 is a grand tourer coupe that was part of Lexus’s first-generation SC lineup, known for blending performance, luxury, and distinctive styling. The Lexus SC 300, performance-oriented luxury coupe produced by Lexus (Toyota’s luxury division) in North America. It was part of the first-generation Lexus SC series (SC 300 and SC 400).

Powertrain

The SC 300 uses the 2JZ-GE, a naturally aspirated inline-6 engine — the same engine found in the non-turbo Toyota Supra of the same era. While it lacks the twin-turbo setup of the Supra Turbo (2JZ-GTE), it’s incredibly reliable, smooth, and mod-friendly. Many enthusiasts consider the SC 300 a “luxo-Supra” because of this.
