Toyota MR2 Second Generation
The second-generation Toyota MR2, also known as the W20, was produced from 1989 to 1999. This generation saw significant changes from its predecessor, featuring a more refined design, improved performance, and advanced technology for its time. Sleeker, more aerodynamic design with pop-up headlights (later models had fixed headlights). The interior also improved with comfort and quality, with optional leather seats and more advanced electronics.
For 1993, suspension and tire upgrades for improved handling along with larger brakes, revised rear suspension geometry to reduce snap oversteer.
In 1994, the MR2 had minor styling changes, including new tail lights and revised front and rear bumpers and introduction of passenger airbag (varies by market).
