As a successor to the midsize BMW 319, the Type 320 appeared in 1937 with modern, rounded body. With drive technology corresponded to the beginning of the previous model, after a short construction period, a slightly greater displacement 6-cylinder engine was used. The BMW 320 was available as a two-door sedan or two-door convertible and stayed until the end of 1938 in the sales program.

1939 BMW 321 Kabriolett

The BMW 321 was a further developed version of the BMW 320, which in 1939 had replaced the model 319. The 320 was different in the front axle that came from the Type 326 and the rear-hinged doors. Optical corresponded to the BMW 321, largely to the larger and more powerful model 326 with four doors. Offered both as a sedan and as a convertible always only two doors. After the war began in Eisenach, automobile production began under Soviet direction with this model.

BMW 325

The mid-thirties was developed on behalf of the Wehrmacht an off-performance unit chassis for the “Light unit Motor Cars”, which could be fitted by several manufacturers with engines and bodies. The result was all around a highly complex chassis with independent suspension and coil springs. The trick was not only an all-wheel gearbox with five gears, but also an all-wheel steering. With the completion of the car companies Stoewer, Hanomag and BMW were commissioned. At BMW, we built a one two-liter engine with 50 hp, the 326 was like to a dry sump lubrication that of BMW. When BMW 325 3225 1.8-ton piece of the companion were delivered to the Wehrmacht.
